Faith Through the Seasons Season of Planting (Beginning). Sowing seeds of love and hope across various ministry areas has been a privilege, especially in these challenging times. After three months of rest due to border conflicts, God continues to move in the field. Three young neighbors—Leap, Kenna, and their cousin Kaka—joined our cell group and heard the message of Christ’s unconditional love. A new batch of CTC students from different villages is also learning about God through Values Education at the Center for Global Impact. In addition, the wedding of Essa and Somphor became a powerful testimony of Christ’s grace, love, and power to their families and community. Their union in a Christian marriage, uncommon in a Buddhist setting, is truly a blessing.  The washing of feet symbolizes humility and a mutual submission to God and to one another as husband and wife. Season of Growth (Development). Spiritual growth is evident among those we disciple. Sana, a new believ...

Hope Lives On Christmas Beyond December Following the truce declared on December 27, 2025, we were blessed with opportunities to bring Christ’s hope to various communities this January. The past year was undeniably challenging, yet it became a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness, strengthening our trust in His promises. In partnership with CGI , we were able to distribute essential supplies to more than 80 families living near the border in early January. Many of these families reside just one kilometer—or even less—from the border area. Along with providing practical support, we also shared the Word of God, encouraged them in faith, and lifted them up in prayer. Oum, now in her 90s, shares a powerful testimony of how the Lord Jesus saved her from death. She remains deeply grateful to Jesus Christ and steadfast in her faith. Hearing her story of faith is truly inspiring and encouraging. After distributing essential supplies to the community, the pastor of the church invit...

From Conflict to Calm: Giving Thanks to God for His Faithfulness The 18 soldiers were released at the Pailin border and taken to Battambang Old Airport (just behind my rented apartment) before flying to Phnom Penh today. As this year comes to a close, our hearts are filled with deep gratitude to God. What began with fear, uncertainty, and the sound of conflict around us has ended with a measure of calm through the ceasefire. Truly, the Lord has been our refuge and strength in times of trouble. There were days when war felt too close—when families were displaced, homes and livelihoods were lost, and peace seemed far away. Yet in the midst of it all, God sustained us. He protected lives, strengthened weary hearts, and united His people in prayer. We witnessed firsthand that God is faithful, even when circumstances are unstable. We thank the Lord for answered prayers—especially for the release of those held captive, and for the renewed sense of peace now felt in our communities. Eig...

Faith Over Fear: God’s Peace in Times of War But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed . (Isaiah 53:5) On December 7, war again erupted along the Cambodia–Thailand border—this time on a wider scale, affecting six provinces and displacing half a million people, many of them children. The conflict has now stretched into its second week, bringing fear, loss, and uncertainty across the nation. At the evacuation center, children were attending online classes using a single phone placed on the ground. I spent time with them, helping them process their emotions and praying with them. One girl broke down in tears, sharing that she no longer had a home to return to.  On December 10, I welcomed ten Filipino evacuees from Poipet into my home. They shared how God protected them as bombs exploded just 10 kilometers from their houses, sha...
