Merry Christmas! 1 Corinthians 10:13 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:13 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. She started helping her mother cleaning at school at the age of 12, where she had started to study the Bible and now she is 20. Time flies so fast. She thrived ever since because of the mercy and grace of the Lord Jesus. Dara Dou went through difficult times but her tenacity to pursue God as the source of life has been progressing throughout these years. Cutting grasses for cows, collecting empty plastic battles at school, selling biscuits on the streets, and cleaning houses were just several part-time jobs she experienced just to finish high school. She had passed the university scholarship program and has been studying at the government university in Tourism for three years now. However, this did not stop her to seek more opportunities. I remembe...

Better Together! It’s been a year and four months when Chantou and his two boys experienced that painful plight inside their burning small house in July last year. Chantou survived inside the two hospitals for five months and thrived for another six months as an outpatient. He lives in Battambang for almost a year. Regardless of what had happened to him, it did not hinder Chantou to continue his studies at our Bible school. This is now his second year at Cambodia Schools for Missions (CSM). He is back to the village and comes back to Battambang every now and then for Bible School class. His two boys, Piseth and Visal are staying at LOHI’s dorm. They’re both doing great after they got adjusted to school and with new found friends. Visal, the youngest excels in public school, both are in grade one. He ranked 4 th in class and first at LOHI English language center pre-level 1 class. It was delightful news to receive and of course, we celebrated over a cone of ice cream! Governm...

Colors of Heaven LOHI English Camp 2018 went great with its theme, Colors of Heaven! What a victory we have in Jesus! 227 students registered campers were in jubilant through music, games, and different stations. God’s message of heaven was made known to each and every camper. These were the stations: Creation, Sin, Cross, Forgiveness, Heaven, and New Life  to which God’s message was proclaimed. The students responded to the conviction of the Holy Spirit as they followed in prayer. From day one to day three, the message to each station was presented creatively by the team from Malaysia and LOHI staff. Thus, the goal of the camp to evangelize was conveyed well and thousands of angels were rejoicing for the eternal results. God is mighty to save indeed . Let these pictures speak for itself . Glory and honor to God alone. "  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,  baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of ...

T3+T10                                     Be thankful . God has commanded it—for our good and for His glory . Thaibodia Training Trek (T3 ) went great last July until August 10 and I celebrated my Thankful 10 years in Cambodia as well. God is great and good as always.  Praise the Lord! I was assigned in Pakkret, outskirts of Bangkok, to help out the new Santisuk center. This branch is eighteen months old with three staff. They are working hard to have more students. When I was there, the students brought their food from home to the center just to have fellowship with us, teachers and staff.  I felt loved. God is Sovereign; I knew that I was celebrating that day my 10 th year in Cambodia, though I was in Thailand.    In addition, this location of Pakkret Nonthabur...

God's Grace, Goodness and Faithfulness I truly am grateful to God for adding another year into my life. I celebrated my 44 th   birthday on May 18 with the acquired family and friends in missions; this is God’s way of saying that no one is alone in God’s ministry. Since I left my family in 2006 for missions I have seen God’s power transforming many lives both Thais and Cambodians. He also molded me in so many ways. God’s sustaining grace allows me to trust and obey Him especially when the circumstances in ministry, family and personal concerns are tough. The roller coaster of life is not easy, yet one thing is certain, God is Sovereign and He knows what lies ahead and good for us. I believe the true beauty of faith and service are best seen in the midst of adversity. Christ Jesus had modeled it on His journey to the cross of Calvary. Thus, I am praying at making the years count as this is Gods’ special gift and love to me. By His grace and mercy I pray that many more soul...

DumnnangLaorKampuchea/ GoodNewsCambodia God be exalted for the 12 students who came this month to continue their Bible school classes for two years at Cambodia Schools of Missions (CSM), Battambang. They studied Intro to Missions with Pastor Gatmen and were more ignited to share the GOSPEL into their respected villages.   During their small groups they have fun in an activity — Bible verse phone relay that I prepared. Some students are good in remembering verses but some were having difficulty. However, all of them are competitive. Praise the Lord for their eagerness to learn despite of their age. What a privilege again to share the Word of God in Khmer language at our church Sunday worship this week. The church was encouraged through the life of Joseph. God ’ s presence was with Joseph and His favor was upon him in the midst of his plight – from pit to palace.   This is my favorite story in OT and I was reminded of who God is again and again. All glory to God....
