The life that counts blessings discovers its yielding more than it seems (By Ann Voskamp).
Giving thanks to God not because of how I feel but because of who He is. Sharing His Word at church about the richness of God’s grace allowed me to have a deeper experience and understanding of how truly amazing is His grace on a personal level. The richness of God’s grace empowered everyone to do beyond limitations. The church was encouraged by His Word and so am I. Indeed before God can use us. He will use through us. Only by His grace.

Giving praise to God for what He has done in the lives of the Christian teachers in Battambang.
Cambodia Teachers Community (CTC) had its first Self Care Retreat in June at YWAM.  Working together with the leaders of this small community is beneficial, as we meet new teachers and workers of the Lord in different schools here in Battambang. Above all, it provides us a support group in the field of teaching and in sharing the Gospel of Jesus.

Text Box: Beng Ample and Takrok village church ministry.Giving glory for His awesome protection. Leading a small visiting team in a short meditation of Psalms 91:1-2 before heading to a distant village in Battambang was privileged. But, little did we know what will happen on that day. The sky was clear when we left  Battambang. Many children with several adults were waiting for us in two church villages, Takrok and Beng Ample. The Gospel of Jesus was made known into the villagers during the two-day intentional evangelism, and a one-time feeding event.  However, when we went home, we have passed through a dangerous muddy 3 kilometers road with cliffs on both sides. All of us inside the pick-up truck were scared yet secured. God reminded us of the verse we shared a few hours back. We hanged on in prayer while the rain was pouring hard and the driver was trying his best to move forward as there was no space to turn left or to turn right, and moving backward will put our lives in danger. I felt responsible for the whole team with the driver and the truck.  However, God again reminded me that it was Him who is responsible for all of us. Thus, we glorify God for giving us faith and peace amid during in a literal storm, danger, and anxiety. It definitely once again boosted my faith in God’s promises here in missions.

Giving honor to God’s healing power and strength. OUTBREAK. Cambodia has reported many cases of Dengue. Risk is present throughout the country and year-round, with peak transmission from May to October. Many lives are affected with fatalities this year compared to previous years.  I have been a “nurse” to one of our colleague missionaries at LOHI for longer hours at the hospital; Rizza was admitted for several days because of dengue fever. She was so weak when her platelets dropped to 20 with the normal ratio of 210+ after having five days of on and off fever. Since Pastor Sam was out of the country at that time, I stood as Rizza’s guardian. Rizza’s mother in the Philippines had asked me to look after her daughter. Moreover, Seng, the brother of Kanhchany (church leader), was admitted as well for the same reason. When I visited Seng, at the mini private clinic/hospital, it was filled with patients from adults to babies on the floor at the receiving area, and up to the kitchen of that clinic as the government hospitals were filled with dengue patients. The scenery was heartbreaking. Praying for Seng and the patients at that moment was the best thing to do. God, in his healing mercy and grace, healed Rizza, Seng, some of the church members, and Kanhchany’s grandmother too, who has had dengue fever.   Praise the Lord, our Healer!
Rizza was discharged from the hospital and Seng with a towel on his forehead & other patients, squeezing in a small clinic with dengue.

Giving thanks to God for the 26 local pastors and leaders from different churches of three provinces and with 3 missionaries who were equipped during the three days YouthHope Leadership seminar at the center. God has answered my prayer as I desired for good training in leading and ministering the youth for the next chapter of ministry here in Cambodia. It was a very helpful training as I am applying the holistic principle and practical methods of it now at our church ushers and village ministry leaders, discipleship, and discovery ministry.  As a result, by the grace of God, Youth ministry so far is more guided with a clear vision and good results.  GLORY IS ALL HIS.
YouthHope Leadership seminar at LOHI center, Pastors and leaders had received the certificate of participation. Pastor Dale and Pastor Jesse from the US, facilitated the seminar. Praise God for the opportunity to lead the worship on the said seminar with our church leaders. Only by His GRACE.

Grateful hearts are not only greatly happy but also live blessedly. Thank you, Lord, for all of you!
