TIME

A gift from LoHI of our 10 years, wooden map of Cambodia.

God has reminded me of the importance of valuing time in understanding that God will judge the quality of every person’s life. I shared Ecclesiastes 12 at church Sunday worship this month. Seeing the lives of Cambodian young people become more receptive in the Gospel is encouraging yet we know that being young is exciting also, however, this excitement of youth can become a hindrance to closeness with God if it makes young people focus on passing pleasures instead of eternal values. Thus, what a great reminder it was for the church to live a life centered on God because it is truly fulfilling. Pray that these young people will continue to value their time, fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. Ecclesiastes 12:13.

Pose after Sunday worship.
Spending time with disciples and newly baptized believers before my home assignment is uplifting.  We shared our experiences and plans.  We trust our future in God’s perfect plan as we faithfully journey with Him in His Word and in prayer.
These two little girls are our Pastor's kids. I babysit them on Sundays. However, Sophia, the first child and I worship together while carrying her in my arms, singing the whole time of worship.   Katara, the 9 months old baby is my little bundle of joy also at the church.
These two kids embracing me last Sunday with words, "Tita I will be missing you."

My last Sunday this year, giving encouragement to the church.

Time to pack my luggage for my three-month home assignment on November 21 until February 20, 2020 and I have to put all my stuff into boxes also, so when I returned from my furlough it will be all ready to transfer to the new place of ministry.  BSOP team Cambodia had its annual field council meeting last month, to which we reported, evaluated, made plans in the future and prayed for it. I am ready and excited about the new beginning of ministry after a decade at LOHI.  Praise and glory to God alone for what He had accomplished in and through the lives of everyone whom He transformed and the church that He established.  This coming fresh start of ministry at a new place is a process, which is a journey that requires fervent prayer and plan.  I am even more excited to share the Gospel of Jesus and make disciples through planting cell churches. Once again, please journey with me in prayer and your partnership in making disciples for Christ our Lord. If you are interested in the ministry plan in 2020 and beyond, just message me and I would love to send you a copy.  Thank you!
Ran Chairan's wedding. She was my former English student and now an assistant officer in charge at HANDA International referral hospital in Battambang.
Sunleang's wedding, our church leader and the head secretary of LoHI for 10 years now. I worked closely with her not only at the office work but also in her walk with God.
Dara, me, Maly (Dara's aunt), and Daneth (Dara's sister). Praise God for these beautiful spiritual children we have in the Lord Jesus. Pose during Sunleang's wedding. Ladies in red!
Ly Eng's wedding, another former student. I received 5 wedding invitations this month. November is the starting wedding month in Cambodia.

Thanksgiving and Praise: Thanks and praise God for...
1. BSOP Team Cambodia annual field council last month. The venue is far yet was so refreshing. It was my first time to visit in Mondulkiri, northeast of Cambodia.
2. A decade of fruitful ministry at LOHI.
3. Kimseng who joined our Sunday church worship for the first time in her life after baptism last month. She studies on weekends at the university. A normal life for college and working students in Cambodia. She is the first believer in the family.
4. Faithful partners in missions. I am 113% supported this year! God is awesome, faithful, and great!
5. Good health and protection.
6. 7 Battambang CSM Bible school students are graduating this end of November.

Prayer and supplications: Please pray for …
1. Safe and smooth travel back to the Philippines on November 21. Be leaving Battambang in the morning by bus for 4 hours and at night from Siem Reap Int’l airport to Manila. Be arriving at NAIA airport early morning and my connecting flight to Cebu is at 10am. And be traveling to my hometown later in the evening by boat for 8 to 9 hours on November 22.
2. The spiritual growth of the 21 newly baptized believers.
3. Finding the strategic new place of ministry before leaving for my home assignment. We found one, but the owner is not willing to keep it vacant for three months and wait for my return.  Pray that if it is His will, the place will be kept until I returned from home assignment.
4. Fruitful and refreshing time with my siblings, nieces, nephews, relatives, church, and friends.
5. Tremendous blessings from God to my faithful partners in missions.
6. Good health, wisdom, and intimate relationship with God in His Word and in prayer.
7. Itineraries during my home assignment.

I praise the Lord for your faithful and loving partnership throughout these years in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus to many Cambodians. I appreciate you especially your prayer, heart, and support. I am grateful. THANK YOU!

In Christ,
