EXERCISE
“How would I
know if I am spiritually growing in the Lord Jesus?” Mie Oun uttered this
question with good curiosity during our intentional discipleship class. I
remembered answering that one way to gauge is if her obedience to God brought
joy into her heart not a burden. The same with Essa who has been in our
intentional discipleship class for 7 months now, she is a university student
with a part-time job, and Singim, Dara, Daneth, Vina, and Noch are now earning
at their respective work. Encouraging and challenging these young women and the
church to obey God through their tithes and give it with a cheerful heart.
Three women gave their testimonies on how they obeyed the Lord in giving their
tithes faithfully even during a financial crisis in the family. They
experienced peace and contentment because they chose to exercise their faith in
God, God’s grace. Praise the Lord!
Drawing a daily life map helps our cell members
evaluate their walk with God how the Lord has kept them from danger how the
Lord has led their lives and how gracious God is for bringing them back to Him
when they have gone astray in their decisions.
I love to walk and I have been consistent in my daily walking exercise every morning. So, I am always active and have the energy to do the ministry that the Lord has entrusted me. One day, on September 4, while preparing for my lunch and in a hurry for the ministry schedule ahead, I slipped and sprained my right foot. I was not able to walk for two weeks. God used His children to help me during those days of pain and physical struggle. Last week I was able to teach and back to work. God in His grace and mercy rescued me with a simple yet important lesson—slow down, be mindful on the wet floor and your season because He cares for me, and my health. Thus, my faith in God has grown more muscle. Glory to God.
