Merry Christmas!
English is a skill to learn. Those who have acquired this well perhaps will have a better opportunity to have a nicer job and be away from being trafficked into prostitution or slavery which is pretty common among the poorest families in the neighborhood. Praise the Lord for using us all to be the catalyst of hope in this season once again. Teaching more than English it is.


LOHI Awarding of Certificates on December 2 went great with 113 graduates and 25 were from computer class and the rest were from English language class. 84 students received special awards through their excellent performances in each level for three terms. This is a promising hope to the graduates. Praise the Lord for His mercy and sustaining grace in making an impact into students’ life. What a great God we have!  All glory and honor to HIM alone.

These were the graduates who have studied in the class that I am teaching.

Please do pray for:
1.) Christmas Carnival on December 16, this Saturday.
·         This is a whole day Christmas celebration at the center.  Preparation is a must.
·         Good health, strength, and sensitivity from the Holy Spirit, so the message of Christ will be made known to all the staff (committees) who are working together in planning and in preparing with the short-term missionaries from the US.
·        We are expecting a thousand of people (students with their loved ones) to witness, hear God’s message and enjoy the celebration.
·         For all the assigned preachers every hour, they will be sharing God’s Word for 10 minutes aside from the main speaker, (April Rothweiler) in the morning who will be sharing for 20 minutes. Thus, prayer is vital.
·         Students and parents will respond to the message of Christ positively.
·         For fair weather. Though the weather lately has been nice, extra cooler than few weeks ago.
·         Different booths that we have invited to join and be part of the gathering.
·         The whole part of the program will be successful for Christ’s glory.

2.) Christmas at Takroak area on December 17.
3.) Christmas at WABC church on December 24.
4.) Christmas at Anlongvil village on December 31.

JESUS CHRIST be made known and be exalted for He is the Reason for every SEASON.

  Jesus’ Shines Jesus, the Giver of life, shines bright on Christmas celebrations . Glory to God for what He accomplished in the different areas of ministry. Indeed, the reason for the season was at work and will continue to be at work in and through our lives .   A QUARTER OF PRAYER, LOVE, AND COURAGE   Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.     And do everything with love.  (I Corinthians 16:13-14) Shine's intentional discipleship ministry seeks to obey the will of the Father .
