#Great Is THY Faithfulness

#God’s faithfulness shines on us.
Christmas Carnival 2017 in LOHI was attended by approximately a thousand of students and parents on December 16. The center was filled with fun & laughter through different board and ball games, booths, raffle draws, and Christ centered stage performances. Christs’ message of love was delivered well by our village Pastors and our invited speakers every hour. It was a whole day event that allowed Jesus’ Name to shine through the whole event which was our main objective focuses. The program was supposed to end at 5pm, but we extended it until 6pm.


#God’s faithfulness sustains us.
Kids at Anlongvil village celebrated Christmas and they were able to share the nativity scene, skit and song interpretation they have had in the village. They also presented it at school, and church Christmas celebrations. They’ve grown so fast, some of them are even taller than me. “Where did the time go?” I ponder. Seven years ago when BSOP through His servant started this ministry by God’s power and sustaining grace, now some of them are candidates for water baptism.

#Gods faithfulness is enough for us.
We expanded the place of our church worship area ever since Christmas to which we planted in 2012. We usually used the 3.5 meters wide and 9 meters long room, but now we expanded it until the motorcycle parking area which is wider and bigger than inside. From 20 to 30 attendees, now we have 60 to 70 Sunday worship attendees. God is enough, but we know that the saved Cambodians are not yet enough. We have a goal and we pray to have at least 100 this year by His mercy and grace.  We serve Him because He first served us-enduring and faithfully all along and through His grace and faithfulness we have everything necessary to accomplish great things for the furtherance of His Kingdom.

#God’s faithfulness is revealed in us as we pray.
The Lord is faithful to answer our prayer according to His will, not ours. The LoHI’s dorm and school 4th floor building was in construction for more than two years at the center. The financial need and different challenges engulfed us and pressed us hard several times. However, victory belongs to God. On January 8, the building dedication was held and it was a wonderful time to savor and relish God’s greatness and faithfulness on the biggest project we have ever had yet. Currently, we have 38 boys and girls at the dorm. A new office, library, classrooms, and dorm for our CSM Bible school students. Indeed, God’s faithfulness moves us beyond our meager requests and presses us to see His glory in answered prayers in His will. All glory and honor to God alone!

ü  His Name that shines in all our Christmas celebrations at school, villages, & churches.
ü  LOHI staff retreat 2017, we visited Siem Reap & Preah Vihear. Time for prayer and recharging.
ü  LoHI’s new building project completion and dedication.
ü  Growing church and leaders
ü  Mentoring (Kanhchany & Dara) and Discipleship (Singim & Vorleak) classes.
ü  CSM Bible school students, we resumed the class in January.
ü  Problems & challenges that strengthens me to press on and accomplish more for His glory and honor.
ü  God’s Amazing faithfulness in 2017!

Prayer & Supplication:
Please pray for…
§  Good health, protection, & intimate relationship with God through His Word & Prayer.
§  New Bible study contacts.
§  Chantou, he was discharged from the hospital but still need to visit hospital for regular check-ups. He still couldn’t walk properly. Pray for complete healing. He stays with his aunty in Battambang and the two sons, Piseth and Visal are staying here at LoHI dorm and both are studying in grade 1 at public school.
§  CSM Bible school students & provision.
§  Church projects provision:  small mixer for microphone & speaker and 30 plastic chairs.
§  Schedule at church in sharing of God’s Word on February 11.
§  Fruitful first quarter. THANK YOU so much!

  Jesus’ Shines Jesus, the Giver of life, shines bright on Christmas celebrations . Glory to God for what He accomplished in the different areas of ministry. Indeed, the reason for the season was at work and will continue to be at work in and through our lives . I am grateful to God for all the privileges and challenges in sharing the Gospel in 2024 with victory  and your faithful partnership .   A QUARTER OF PRAYER, LOVE, AND COURAGE   Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.     And do everything with love.  (I Corinthians 16:13-14) Shine's intentional discipleship ministry seeks to obey the will of the Father .
