Every season in life is a gift from God, an opportunity to trust and grow in Jesus. Glory is all His for this season of my furlough. His Word was shared and His holy Name was exalted through the different speaking engagements I have had in December.

Women of Worth (WOW) in the third district of Masbate province held its Christmas fellowship in barangay Madamba and invited me as the speaker. Nine churches have sent their representatives. I shared about how to be a woman of wisdom that glorifies God. It was an encouraging fellowship, were two of the attendees approached and hugged me; they had reminded me of the sitio Balig-ang Tagala ministry I led 17 years ago. The house where I conducted a Saturday Bible study with kids ministry is now faithful servants of God. I was teary-eyed when this woman, aunty Oben and her younger brother, Narciso, who is part of the deacon board in Madamba Baptist Church, told me that if God did not send me in their place they might not have a relationship with Jesus. I was speechless with a heart full of praise to God for how He orchestrated things in the past that have a significant effect in the present and future ministry. The kid’s ministry is sustained by the grace of God until now and the family is faithfully serving the Lord. Hallelujah! The crossing of the sea by a small boat amid in literal squalls and knee-high mud is now bearing and harvesting its fruits. God has reminded me of His word in John 15:16, one of my life verses.

Supplication: Please pray for…
1. Peace and comfort for the death of my two aunties with only a few minutes’ intervals. They are the older and younger sisters of my deceased father. I am going to travel to Manila tomorrow for the burial.

2. My medical checkup this month and my itinerary in Cebu.

My heart is full of gratitude to God because of your unwavering partnership throughout these years in reaching Cambodians for the Lord Jesus. Thank you. This 2020 is another privilege for us to fix our eyes on the only One who knows what the year is to hold.

  Jesus’ Shines Jesus, the Giver of life, shines bright on Christmas celebrations . Glory to God for what He accomplished in the different areas of ministry. Indeed, the reason for the season was at work and will continue to be at work in and through our lives .   A QUARTER OF PRAYER, LOVE, AND COURAGE   Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.     And do everything with love.  (I Corinthians 16:13-14) Shine's intentional discipleship ministry seeks to obey the will of the Father . Prayer and fasting are integral parts of every fiscal year. All glory to God for answering our prayers favorably as we commenced the first quarter of 2025.
