Shine's New Place
Crossing the other side of the river for God’s glory. Since I arrived from my home assignment, the Holy Spirit has stirred up my faith to put my whole confidence in Him. He promised that He would cross with me across the other side of the river at this season of life and ministry. In the beginning, I was uncertain about moving, not only because of my right arm problem but because of the obvious reason, wanting to make sure of His will. Thus, God shows who He is. He answered all the prayer lists I had written for a new place, and He even gave more than what I asked for. My new landlady is a believer in Jesus and told me that God answered my prayer and her prayer, too. Two nights before Kanhchany gave me her contact number from a common friend, she prayed to the Lord that if her place would be rented, it should be a missionary or a foreigner. Moreover, God healed my right arm prior to moving! Hearing the little click from my right arm elbow, while reading His Word in John 3 to 5 was amazing. I have sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit. In amazement, I asked the Lord, “Did you heal my right arm, just now?” I Stretched and twisted my right arm (haven't done this even during my sessions with physical therapy in the Phils. because it hurts), I brushed the wet rug just to check if I was really healed. I was in pain due to the frequent mopping of the rainwater that got inside the kitchen. I kneeled before the Lord and worshipped Him. Praise His holy Name. This was God's way of displaying who He is. God is so gracious. I was able to pack all my little and big stuff and settle in the new place without the recurrence of pain in my right arm elbow. Glory and praise to our Abba Father alone.
The last cell group worship and fellowship at my old place was during the birthday of Sopheak and Sreylis last month. I am grateful to God for what He has accomplished in the old place, the saving of Sreyleak, Lyna, Sopheak, Mie Oun, Mak Ya and Mak Chan, Pisay, the spiritual and leadership growth of Singim, Leakhena, Nika, Dara, Daneth, Lita, Lida, Makara, and Kanchany are God’s all working power and grace.
Opening Shine at a new place was graced by friends, disciples, mentees, and the BSOP team. God is confirming His will and purpose of having this new place at this season of my life and ministry. God fulfills His promises to us, for His glory.
