Missions and Dara's Life!

Dara Dou, 19 years old, is now at the university! After she passed the national grade 12 examinations, she has granted a scholarship to study in University of Battambang. Her parents are so happy that Dara made it this far. In her grandparent’s family, Dara is the first person graduated in high school. Thus, this is huge for Dara and her family.

Dara is a responsible student, daughter, and a disciple of God who makes disciple as well. She has been leading the village ministry by herself.  Coaching and mentoring boosts her confidence to continue the ministry. In two months break she taught Bible among the bigger kids in the village daily on week days using the New Life in Christ, book that she got from our bible study years back. Now, her two siblings are serving the Lord alongside with her. God is raising more disciples to serve and worship HIM.  Praise the Lord!

East meets west! T’was an encouraging experience to be shadowed by different set of Americans in what we daily do in the field. They witnessed what it looks like to be in our normal routine doing ministry and the privileged of meeting our Cambodian contacts. What a gift to be encouraged with their presence through our meal fellowships, sharing time, and prayer.  God utilized our International Director, Dr. & Mrs. Nordine, who initiated the said event which was entitled as—Reinforce Cambodia! Praise the Lord for the reinforcement that He provided for us, Bethlehem Star of Peace (BSOP) missionaries in the field in this season of the year. God is good and faithful!

In Christ,
Mary Jane G. Aragon
