LOVE INTENTIONALLY
“Love is an unconditional commitment to an imperfect person which requires personal sacrifice.” I memorized this definition of love from a book when I was in school. We can commit to loving everyone because of the love and grace of the Lord Jesus to us, thus, loving others sacrificially is possible. I spoke to different places in February, talking about the unconditional love of Jesus and how crucial it is in disciple-making. There is always an opportunity to grab this season of love in spreading the Gospel, teaching true love waits, and showing how to love others sacrificially, these are all timely and relevant. Every February each year is a redeeming time, snatching souls as many as we can from the alluring schemes of the devils. Only the love of Jesus manifested on the cross, is the love worth pursuing daily. Many were taught and encouraged by God’s unconditional love. Thus, as a takeaway from His Word, they wrote a Bible verse in the paper heart which I asked them to memorize.
Sreytoch is one of our disciples who was rescued physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She is one of the girls at Marlene's home that graduated from university. Currently, she is also working at the place where she lived for years as office staff. "Teacher, can a good person go to heaven even did not believe in Jesus?" Sreytoch asked. This was during our one-on-one Bible study. Now, after digging into God’s Word in Ephesians 2:8-9, studying how sinful humans are and the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Sreytoch's faith in Jesus is strengthened. She promised to God that she would trust Him and obey Him by keeping His Word in her heart. She wrote Psalm 119:11 in this paper heart and memorized it. All glory to God.
